This period is offering best conditions to get close up with insects out there in the fields: One of the main focus of this workshop are butterflies. Also dragonflies and lots of flowers make this time of the year very interesting for macro photography. Since the workshop will take place in the mountains, several phases of Spring can be experienced due to visiting different altitudes in a very short period of time. With the mountain range located at close proximity to the mediterranean climate zone, it offers a very diverse and rich fauna and flora. Bulgaria’s mountain ranges in the south do hold spectacular landscape scenery and hence can be very rewarding for landscape photography. Meadows and gorges as well as forests offering good photo opportunities. Spend some relaxing days in the mountains near the rivers Struma and Mesta and enjoy nature at it’s best.
